HAVE YOU
Part 2
#######################################################################################
Have you ever wondered why in the book of Revelation, the people will fight against Christ when He returns?
Why after going through the great tribulation and all the evils of this world, would they not accept the true Christ
and accept the anti-christ?
Lets examine the scriptures? First we will look at the first seal of Revelation 6:2. "And I saw, and behold a white
horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to
conquer." This pictures the false Christ that appear during the end time, just as Christ said in Matthew 24. "And
Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in My name,
saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many" (Matt 24:4-5).
Today, as over the centuries, mankind has seen the pictures of who they say is a picture of Christ. We see this
in many of the Bible printed in every language. We see pictures in Bible Book store and in many Churches. But
is that picture of a dark long haired man, really an image of the true Jesus Christ?
When my wife and I were children, we would go to Knotts Berry Farm, an amusement park in Southern
California. There was a store in their mall that had pictures of what is called Jesus. He was a man with long dark
hair and when looking at him, his eyes would follow you around. It was very scary for children, but this was the
picture we were told was Jesus! The same lie is still being told today!
Many countries have statues of a long hair man they call
Jesus. The most famous is the tall statue in Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil, overlooking the ocean is the 4TH largest statue in the
world. The largest one is in Boliva at 112.2 feet tall, with a
pedestal of 20.5 feet. Vietman has a 104 ft. statue of the
believed Christ. Other countries who have extremely tall
statues is: Indonesa, East Tinior, Clombia, Mexico has 5,
Peru, Spain, Poland, Italy! Is it any wonder that most people
believe that the pictures and statutes they see are the true
Christ.
At the time of the end, mankind will be fighting against the
true Christ! In the book of Luke, Christ foretold what would
happen in the later days. `But Jesus turning unto then said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for Me, but weep
for yourselves, and for your children. For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are
the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. Then shall they begin to say to
the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us" (Luke 23:28-30).
Also in Rev 6:15-17, "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains,
and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the
mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the
throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"
Why did they fight and then hide themselves? Because they have been deceived and are expecting a Christ like
being that looks like the pictures of a long haired man they have seen all their lives!
The Apostle John was told by Jesus Christ, who was told by His Father, in Revelation 1: "And I turned to see
the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven
candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with
a golden girdle. His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow [considered today as blond]; and
His eyes were as a flame of fire [blue]; And His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His
voice as the sound of many waters.
The true Jesus Christ does not look like the pictures we see today! The disciple Philip asked Christ a question?
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. If ye had
known Me, ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him. Philip
saith unto Him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with
you, and yet hast thou not known Me, Philip? He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou
then, Shew us the Father?" (John 14:6-9).
What does the Father look like? Daniel tells us, "I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days
did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: His throne was like the
fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire" (Dan 7:9).
It is easy to deceive the whole world, "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the
dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in
heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the
whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him" (Rev 12:7-9).
Satan as the prince of the power of the air causes evil! He
transmits evil and is the cause of all deception.
"Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of
this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the
spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the
flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others" (Eph 2:2-3).
Satan does not want the world to know that God, the Father and Jesus, the Christ are one in thought and deeds.
The word of God prove that Jesus Christ was with the Father from the beginning of this world. "In the beginning
was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the
life was the light of men. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory
as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth" (John 1:1-4,14).
Christ, when at the temple was confronted by the Jews. "Then came the Jews round about Him, and said unto
Him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. Jesus answered them, I told you,
and ye believed not: the works that I do in Hy Father's name, they bear witness of Me. But ye believe not, because
ye are not of My sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: And
“The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah. Bring no more vain
oblations; incense is an abomination unto Me; the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of
assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons
and your appointed feasts My soul hateth: they are a trouble unto Me; I am weary to bear
them. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you”(Isa 1:1, 13-15).
I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. My
Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand. I and
My Father are one" (John 10:24-30).
It is no wonder that the world expect Jesus Christ to look like the pictures of a dark haired man with long hair
that are displayed around the world. It is no wonder that mankind will fight against the true Savior of the world
when He returns!
"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True,
and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many
crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture
dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed Him
upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with
it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the
fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF
KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
In the book of Revelation 1:13-15,, we see Christ in His glorified body! “And in the midst of the seven
candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot and girt about the paps with
a golden girdle, His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes were as a flme of
fire. And His feet like unto fine brass; as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters.”
According to the King James Study Bible, on page 1982, describes Jesus Christ as the Son of man is a messianic
title from Daniel 7:13, and was Jesus favorite designation for Himself. The garment described in verse 13 of
Rev. 1, is judges robe. His white hair symbolizes just, purity and glory. Fire is also a symbol of judgments. The
brass and the sound of the voice show Christ’s authority and power.”
Just as we saw God, the Father in His glorified body in Daniel 7:9, “I beheld till the thrones were cast down and
the Ancient of days did sit, whose garments was white as snow and the hair of His head like the pure wool: His
thorne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire.” The Ancient of Days is God the Father Himself.
The whiteness of His garments and hair is a picture of His holiness.
As recorded in the book of John, brings out the true knowledge of God, the Father, that the other three gospels
does not! Here we are taught the true love of God and His Son to His called out one.
We, as God's called and chosen, must prove all things for ourselves! We cannot take the word of any man, but
always, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the
word of truth" (2 Tim 2:15).☜ COGIT
