PARALLEL BETWEEN REVELATION 6 AND MATTHEW 24
Are we living in the times of the Signs?
===========================================================
When reading Matthew 24, we see Christ telling His disciple what to watch for at the end of the age. He has
revealed several signs that would be prevalent at the time of the end. Matthew 24: 32-33 says, “Now learn a
parable of the fig tree: when his branch is yet tender, and put forth leaves, you know that summer is nigh: So
likewise you, when you shall see all these thing, know that it is near, even at the doors.” And in Vs. 34, “Verily,
I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.”
Starting in Matthew 24:4-5, “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For
many shall come in My name saying, I am Christ: and shall deceive many.”
Parallel verse in Revelation. 6:2, “And I saw and beheld a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow and
a crown was given him: and he went forth conquering and to conquer.” This is the false teachings by many
religious leaders today. Islam says, Allah akbar meaning “Allah is greater!” And the U.S. media says it means;
“God is great!” This is another lie put to the Christians believers of the world!
Matthew 24:6, “And you shall hear of wars, and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things
must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Vs. 7 first part, for nation shall rise against nation and kingdom
against kingdom..”
Parallel verse in Revelation. 6:4, “And there went out another horse that was red: and power given to him that
sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a
great sword.” Today, we see that the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria are doing just that!
Matthew 24:7 last part, “And there shall be famines.”
Parallel, Revelation. 6:5-6, “And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, come and see.
And I beheld and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand and I heard a voice
in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny and three measures of barley for a penny and
see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”
Matthew 24:7 last part, “Pestilence, and earthquakes in diver places.”
Parallel, Revelation. 6:7-8, “And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say,
Come and see. And I looked and behold a pale [green] horse and his name that sat on him was Death and Hell
followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with
hunger and with death, and with the Beast of the earth.
In Matthew 24: 11-12, we see that this is being fulfilled today. “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall
deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Today, we see that many
are leaving the “Christian” churches and many are becoming lukewarm!
We are living in the generation when we see all these things in Matthew 24 coming to pass. Matthew 24:21-22,
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no nor ever
shall be. And except those days should be shortened there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those
days shall be shortened.”
We saw the power of heaven unleashed when the United States ended World II, when Hiroshima was bombed
on 8/6/1945 and Nagasaki on 8/9/1945. The Japanese formally surrendered on 9/2/1945, ending the global
conflict that began on 9/19/1931 when the Japanese invaded Northern China. Now several countries of this
world has the nuclear power to destroy the whole world.
The land of Israel became a nation again when the Jews returned to the land in 1948. They have been in war with
the Arabs and Palestinians for almost 70 years!
Now we are doing the same things as the days of Noah as foretold by Christ in Matthew 24:37-39, “But as the
days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood
they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noe entered into the ark. And
know not until the flood came and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Christ tells us in Matthew 24:42-44, “Watch therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord does come. But
know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come he would have
watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be you also ready for in such an
hour as you think not the Son of man comes.”
Luke also, warns us to, “Watch you therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape
all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Once again, we are living in the generation that are seeing all these prophecies are happening before our eyes!
